Steve was watching the birds in the backyard and saw everyone fly away. Then, a large bird chased a tufted titmouse right into the side of the house. Then, to Steve’s surprise, the hawk landed right there by our back door. Right where the dogs go out to get his prey situated. Steve got a somewhat video of the hawk flying away with it but not enough to really see anything. In the first shot without zoom, you can see the railing to our back door. We believe this to be a Sharp-Shinned Hawk but my raptor ID is not great. Open to other ID ideas.
