So, this isn’t in MY backyard, but instead in my mom’s backyard. She has this really big toad that started living in a flower pot on her back patio. You can follow him on Facebook here and learn more about his antics.

this morning I saw a red squirrel I thought was trying to steal away a sheet that was left out on the patio. I scared it away and picked up the sheet to bring it in and Stan was in the sheet apparently. It was right by his pot. He was too cold to move and may have been getting attacked by a squirrel. I left him a minute but he still didn’t move. I placed him back in his flower pot.
Duke seemed to respect the authority of Stan the Toad.
