We put up a couple different camera locations to try to capture where the deer were going (and if they were eating my new shrubs) and we caught a brief glimpse of a rare guest. We saw this skunk travel through in the early morning hours today. We haven’t ever captured a skunk on any of our cameras before and we have not seen one. With the hounds here I don’t think they come through our yard a lot. We have very rarely smelled a skunk in this area. It’ll be interesting to see if we see this one back again or if it was just travelling through.
We also still have a raccoon and an opossum stopping through fairly regularly. Here’s a quick video of them a couple hours before the skunk sauntered through.
