I thought this was an enormous cricket, then I found out it was a giant spider. I briefly thought Steve was throwing it at me. We were trying to photograph the tiniest snake we ever saw but he got away into the grass and we found 2 of the biggest spiders ever seen around here instead.
Enormous wolf spider. Actually much larger than the other I screamed like a girl while taking this photo and the hounds became so scared for my safety there was a major ruckus.
