Barn Hunt Journals

Tilda & I absolutely love Barn Hunt. If you have interest in this dog sport, this is the class for you. It’s open to all dogs, no need to be an AKC or UKC registered pure breed. There honestly are not a ton of hounds but I think it’s a great sport for hounds. It’s helped Tilda with her confidence. The mental stimulation that she gets is just so important though. It satisfies her in a way that no amount of walking or playing can. It’s also really fun to learn more about your dog, how they work. I just think it’s so fun. There are all kinds of dogs there. Tons of terriers, retrievers, shepherds, poodles. Today in class there were 2 Kooikerhondje today. At trials I’ve met Portuguese podengos, wolfhounds, Chihuahuas, vizlas, setters. It’s a great sport for virtually any breed.
