Finch Variety Show

This video compilation is from a few weeks ago, but I realized I had it set to private! Here’s a video taken on the tripod setup on a VERY windy day. Several finches stop by, a male american goldfinch who is just coming into his breeding colors, house finches, maybe a purple finch. I like seeing how social they are. It’s nice to have feeder cam to be able to closely see their eyes and ensure that no one is getting sick. Finches, because of how they congregate, can pass diseases to one another if their feeding area isn’t kept clean.
