Barn Hunt Journals

May 11, 2019 Elizabeth

Another super fun day at Barn Hunt. Tilda hunted well, but no Open Q yet. She tunneled, climbed and found one rat both runs. We just need to focus a little more and she’ll be able to find both rats. Per usual, I screwed something up. I always say she’s a natural and I’m the one in need of training! I totally was talking to her and did ambiguous rat calling today. Sigh. She never indicated with pawing or barking today, but she’s really giving me the ears and stiff, pointing body. She’s really started listening to the rats and trying to hone in on where they are at in the tube. I just love being her teammate.
