Eastern Dobsonfly

July 5, 2012 Elizabeth

This terrifying creature we identified as an Eastern Dobsonfly. I was so intent on photographing it, that no, much to my chagrin, we didn’t squash it. It has these huge pincers. Shown on a friend’s boot for size reference.
