We had to say goodbye to Mr. Duke. We rescued him when he was 8 & we are so glad we got to have him in our lives. He was quirky & sensitive. He loved belly rubs & playing with toys. I made him wear so many hats over the years! I’m going to dig out all the hat pictures. He was our constant companion. The shadow, speed bump, Dukus, gator, little buddy, my good boy.
Duke loved a toy that “grunted”. He had his emotional support pig for so long. He was a funny guy. He was laid back and stubborn.
It was his time & he’s at peace. There’s another basset sized hole in my heart.
