On 5/17/2024 – Steve noticed robins flying in under our dog kennel with long dead grass. We moved one of our security cameras to catch the nest building that night. The next day I was really surprised to see how well they could build it in a single day! I collected a video from every hour or so throughout the day to see the progress.
Robins have tried to build a nest here before but were unsuccessful. Previously, they had built it under the dog kennel but in a different spot. We weren’t sure what happened the last time but the eggs were just all gone. We thought maybe a snake or a raccoon. So – I’m not sure what will happen to this one but maybe we’ll be able to see what happens.
