We were walking down the road and saw that a hawk has once again built its nest on the power pole. They’ve done this before. It will be interesting to see if they are successful with their nest in this location. I think that Consumer’s Energy doesn’t like it when they build a nest here.
Also another little curiosity. Steve saw this hummingbird at the feeder and then was able to snap a picture of him perched in the nearby apple tree!
They are so hard to see but if you see them take off from the feeder and follow them to where they land it’s a little easier. Can you spot him? He looks a bit like a leaf!
